Andrea Mauro joined the firm in 1985 as Director of Visual Interface Design and Interactive Brand Development. She holds an undergraduate degree in experimental psychology from Skidmore College and an MFA in graphic design from Yale University. Prior to joining Mauro Usability Science, she was founder and principal of her own corporate communications firm in New York. Over the course of her career, she has worked extensively with Fortune 500 clients on issues of visual brand development, corporate communications, retail store design, e-commerce strategy and interactive brand development. She has received numerous awards and citations from the New York Art Directors Club and other leading professional societies. At Yale, she received the Wallace Cheney award for outstanding artistic composition. She has also undertaken extensive studies in music theory and composition at the Julliard School in New York and manages our multimedia sound/music integration efforts.
